S1 E4: Racing A Lambo

As a firefighter, veteran, and father, I’ve spent years responding to emergencies and helping other people through their worst moments. But this series isn’t about the fears life forces on us. It’s about the fears we choose to face.

In Episode Four, I head to Las Vegas for an experience that tests just how far I’m willing to push myself. From arriving on the Strip and taking in everything Vegas has to offer, to the anticipation leading up to the challenge, this documentary captures the nerves, excitement, and fear that come with knowing you’re about to do something you would normally avoid.

Every episode this season has forced me to confront fear in a different way. Some fears are physical. Some are mental. And sometimes the hardest part is simply making the decision to go through with it.

The goal was never to stop being afraid.

The goal was to stop letting fear make the decisions.

Fear is temporary. Stories last forever.
